Camp Journey helps campers to face some of their greatest challenges in a fun, exploratory and safe environment. Our overnight programs provide a memorable experience in which teens grow socially and emotionally through working effectively as a member, and sometimes the leader of a team, while accomplishing a common goal. Camp Journey believes that overcoming challenges builds self-confidence. When children with Autism/Asperger’s lead themselves and others through a journey, they establish an important sense of confidence and self-efficacy, perhaps for the first time.

Camp Journey campers have a wide range of social abilities, but remarkably, they all fit together quite nicely, like a colorful puzzle made up of an array of different and unique pieces.
