Week 4: June 25-June 29

Weekly Theme: Super Hero Training
This week will be full of super hero fun. We will meet Superflex and learn how to be flexible with our peers and others that we interact with. We will work on sharing our time to talk and our time to play. We will also have a chance to problem solve and work through different kinds of social situations. We will get to learn about our own super powers and things that we are good at. Each camper will participate in many arts and crafts and sensory activities. We will get to play games and learn from each other’s super powers. We may even have a surprise visit from some of our favorite super heroes.
Social Skills Focus:
Taking turns and making sure that everyone’s needs are met, and solving problems.
Staff members are educational professionals who understand and have been trained in the characteristics of and research based strategies used for children with special needs. Our camp staff is skilled in creating a structured and supportive environment that fosters the positive social and life skills of each camper who attends day camp.
